The Virginia Hispanic Chamber is seeking volunteers with knowledge in business for La Iniciativa Construyendo Negocios, a project between the Virginia Hispanic Chamber (VHC) and The Community Business Partnership (CBP). This project is dedicated to educating primary Spanish speakers (“Participants”) in Northern Virginia on the technical aspects of creating their own businesses.
The Virginia Hispanic Chamber in compliance with CBP will schedule the counseling sessions between the volunteers and participants at the CBP offices at 6564 Loisdale Court, Ste. 600, Springfield, VA 22150 or VAHC offices at in 8300 Boone Boulevard Suite 450 Vienna, VA 22182. Participants will not be charged for counseling.
Volunteers qualifications:
Must be fluent in Spanish to counsel selected participants.
Should be competent in General Business Start-Up, Marketing-Advertising-Branding, Financial Matters (banker), and Financial Analysis (accountant).
Must be willing to meet with participants either at the CBP Offices or VAHC offices for the counseling sessions.
